John Holmes Trail Run
The John Holmes Trail Run is held in Brooksville, Florida, on the Croom Hiking Trail. The event offers multiple distances and a spectator entry. All races start and finish at the Tucker Hill Fire Tower and take place regardless of weather.

The course runs through central Florida scenery including longleaf pines, scrub oak covered hills, creek bottoms and cypress ponds. A cutoff for the event is set at 3:00pm.
