Wiki Wiki 5K
The Wiki Wiki 5K is a Hawaiian themed community walk/run held in Apollo Beach, Florida, to raise funds for scholarship opportunities for local high school seniors and medical students. The event includes an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K, plus kids fun runs for participants age 12 and under.
Participants in the standard 5K receive a dri-fit t-shirt, a chipped race bib, and a finisher medal. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age categories through higher age groups; age group awards are based on chip time. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for entries submitted before February 8, 2027; shirts may be available while supplies last after that date.
Kids fun runs are not timed. Youth participants receive an unchipped race bib and a kids finisher medal but no shirt. Age group distances for the kids events are organized by age with a short loop for the youngest children, a half mile for ages 6 to 9, and a one mile course for ages 10 to 12.
Early packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the event at The Landing in the Waterset community. The main event location is Waterset Community, 7250 Parkshore Drive, Apollo Beach, FL 33572. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
