Warwick Half Marathon
The Warwick Half Marathon is a road-closed half marathon held in the Warwickshire countryside near Hampton Street, Warwick. The course follows quiet country roads with wide views and undulating terrain; the final 2 km trend gently downhill toward the finish. Each mile is marked with distance signage and marshals are positioned along the route to guide and encourage runners.
The event includes a junior race for young runners. Chip timing is used and official race photos are provided. Entries include a unique themed medal and post-race goodies. A staffed event village offers food and drink options and partner giveaways after the race.
The event supports the charity Molly Ollys. Molly Ollys provides wishes and practical or emotional support to children in the UK from birth to 18 years with life-threatening illnesses or conditions, and donates a therapeutic toy lion and related story books to children and hospitals.
Organiser provisions include course signage, friendly marshals and a focus on sustainability in event delivery.
