The Viridian Daventry Triathlon
The Viridian Daventry Triathlon is a sprint triathlon held at Daventry Leisure Centre on 13 September 2026. The swim is pool based and the route combines local roads and paths around Daventry Country Park and the surrounding Northamptonshire countryside. The event is organised by Rugby Triathlon Club and the venue postcode is NN11 4FP.
The race format offered is the sprint distance, available for individual competitors and for relay teams of two or three members. There will be road closures for the finish area. All finishers receive a t-shirt and an iconic medal. The event notes improved age category prizes introduced in 2025.
A club invitational competition titled the Viridian Gold Team will run alongside the main race. For that competition the fastest finishing times of three eligible club entries are added together to produce an overall winning team. All individual finishing times are included in the main sprint results.

- 400 m pool swim
- 20 km cycle through the local Northamptonshire countryside
- 5 km run around Daventry Country Park
