The Viridian Daventry Triathlon
The Viridian Daventry Triathlon is a pool based sprint triathlon held in Daventry on Sunday 13th September 2026. The swim takes place in Daventry Leisure Centre and the run follows a route around Daventry Country Park, with a cycle section through local Northamptonshire countryside. The event postcode is NN11 4FP.
Race options include individual sprint entries and sprint distance relay teams of two or three members. A club invitational competition called the Viridian Gold Team uses the fastest finishing times of three eligible club entries to determine an overall team winner; all individual finishing times are included in the main sprint results.

- 400 m pool swim
- 20 km cycle
- 5 km run around Daventry Country Park
There will be road closures for the finish area. All finishers receive a t shirt and an iconic medal. The event notes improved age category prizes introduced in 2025. Recorded course best times for the sprint race are 55:04 for men set in 2015 and 1:03:55 for women set in 2019.
Entry fees listed for the sprint events are £45 plus a £2.50 fee for individual entries and £60 plus a £3.75 fee for relay entries. Entry closes 9th September 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
