Dorset Coastal Trail Run
This event takes place in Swanage on 5 December 2026 and is organised by Endurancelife as part of the 26-27 trail running season. The races use sections of the Jurassic Coast Path, which received World Heritage status in 2001, and follow coastal terrain with sea-facing sections and notable climbs.
Distances offered at the event include:
- 10K, 6.5 mi, ascent 774 ft
- Half marathon, 13.2 mi, ascent 1719 ft
- Marathon, 26.2 mi, ascent 3736 ft
- Ultra, 32.3 mi, ascent 4416 ft
Terrain is classified as extreme terrain, with surfaces described as trail and grass. Runners completing any distance at this event are awarded points that contribute to the Season Leader Board; points are allocated based on performance and count toward the participant season score.
Registered participants will be asked to complete an online check in approximately two weeks before the event. The online check in includes confirmation of personal details, an in case of emergency contact, and viewing a mandatory event safety video.
