Dorset event overview
The event takes place in Swanage, Dorset, on the Jurassic Coast Path on 6 December 2025. It includes trail and grass terrain and is described as extreme terrain. Entry capacity for all distances is shown as full. Event services include a fully marked course, electronic timing with split results, a finishers medal, and an energy bar. Event parking may have charges. A spectator information sheet and participant manual are provided.
Course, logistics and requirements
Distances and ascent figures are listed for each distance:
- 10K - 6.5 mi, 774 ft ascent
- Half Marathon - 13.2 mi, 1719 ft ascent
- Marathon - 26.2 mi, 3736 ft ascent
- Ultra - 32.3 mi, 4416 ft ascent
Bib numbers are collected at the event marquee in Swanage or at the start for Ultra, Half Marathon, and 10K participants who make their own way to the start. Optional coach transport to the start was available as a paid add-on at £4.00; dogs are allowed on the coach. Mandatory kit requirements were updated, noting fewer required items for the Half Marathon and clarified guidance on water carrying capacity. The half marathon route was updated and maps are available. A weather update advised breezy conditions with light showers in the morning, rain later, and trails likely to be wet underfoot.
