Volkswagen Financial Services Wicklow - Bear Races
The event offers two measured races that start by Wicklow Harbour and finish inside Wicklow Gaol. The courses run along coastal roads before moving inland into the rolling countryside of County Wicklow.

Entry includes a professionally measured and certified course, chip timing, a finisher’s medal, and finish-line refreshments. Race numbers are posted to entries made before the postal cut-off; overseas entries and late registrations must collect their number at designated collection points. Bag drop is provided at Blackcastle and opens from 9:00am.
Facilities on the course include toilets at start and finish and at approximately 6.5 km, 12 km, and 16 km. Water stations serve the 10 km at 6.5 km and the half marathon at 6.5 km, 12 km, and 16 km; water is provided in paper cups. Showers and changing facilities are not provided. The course is wheelchair accessible. Headphones are permitted but runners must remain aware of marshals, Gardaí, pedestrians, and other participants.
Travel and parking options list official event parking at the Wicklow Council Offices and the train station car park. The train station is about a 20 minute walk from the start and Bus Éireann route 133 serves Wicklow. The half marathon has a general cut-off time of 3 hours 30 minutes.
