Event

The Pier Gates Remembrance Race is scheduled for Saturday 27 December 2025 in County Wicklow, starting from Pier Gates / Lough Tay car park. The race is organised as a remembrance for IMRA members who have passed away; fancy dress is encouraged. Entry opens 18 December 2025 and closes 26 December 2025. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. There is no set entry limit. Prizegiving will take place in the car park after the race.

Event difficulty rating is 3. Only major junctions will be marked. GPS use is allowed. Mandatory kit is Level A - Basic, specifically a showerproof, windproof jacket; the final kit to be carried may be confirmed at registration. Participants must be able to carry required kit; failure to have required items may result in denied entry or disqualification. Random kit checks may be carried out.
