Event Details
The 13th annual Wicklow Hospice Half Marathon & 10km takes place on Saturday, 21 February 2026. The event starts and finishes at Avondale Forest Park in Rathdrum, County Wicklow.
Course Information
The course is a loop for both distances. It uses a combination of country roads and hardcore-surfaced forest trails. The route is expected to be largely the same as the 2025 event with a few adjustments. Walkers are welcome for the 10km distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Event Features
- Half Marathon, starting at 8:45am.
- 10km, starting at 9:00am. All finishers receive a medal. The event is chip-timed. Prizes are awarded to winners and the top three in each age category. A route map and further details will be available in early 2026.
