Wickenburg Walks to Boot Breast Cancer
The event is the 18th annual community walk through historic downtown Wickenburg and the scenic Simpson's Ranch. People of all ages may take part in an easy route and choose between in-person or virtual participation.
Participants can select from these distances:
- 1 mile walk
- 5K walk
- Virtual 1 mile or 5K option
On the day there is check-in with team photos taken under a balloon arch and distribution of complimentary prize drawing tickets. An opening ceremony precedes the walk, which is led by survivors. Team awards recognize the most money raised and the most team members. The course closes later in the morning and the finish area includes information booths and door prizes that require presence to win.
Registration deadlines are set for specific benefits: registering by August 31, 2026 qualifies for an early bird rate; registering by September 27, 2026 qualifies for an event T-shirt. Teams must register by October 10, 2026 to compete for the team awards for most funds raised or most members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
