The SKECHERS Wicked Wine Run takes place at Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY on August 22, 2026. The event offers two distance options and a program that combines a timed run or walk with wine sampling and an after party.

Per park permit rules, glassware is not allowed in the park; organizers will provide a plastic wine glass at the finish that can be used for post-event wine purchases. For the 1K tasting walk, wine will be served at the finish as a single 4 oz pour instead of multiple course sampling stations. The 5K includes a glass of wine at the finish and a finisher medal. The 5K course will have two water stations along the route and an additional water station at the finish.
Event inclusions listed for ticketed participants include an event shirt, event bib, access to the after party, and for the 5K a finisher medal. Other on-site features include food trucks, aid stations, music, games, a merch tent, costume and dance contests, and finish line wine. A spectator tasting-only ticket is available; it includes an etched wine glass and a bracelet to permit wine purchases. Parking is available along River Road and may cost up to $20 cash per vehicle. Packet pickup will occur at the venue on race day with specific details posted two weeks prior, and there is an optional $20 packet delivery service for mailed packets.
