Event Details
The Wicked Wine Run will take place at Rassawek Vineyards in Columbia, Virginia, near Richmond. The event date is April 25, 2026. Gates open at noon.
There are two distance options. The 1K Tasting Walk includes three wine sampling stations along the course and a fourth tasting at the finish line in a souvenir wine glass. The 5K run/walk has a 90-minute time limit to complete and features two water stations on the course. All finishers of the 5K receive a wine glass full of wine and a finisher medal at the finish line.
Participation
Tickets for either distance include an event bib, a 2026 event shirt, and access to the after-party. A separate spectator tasting ticket is also available for purchase on-site, which includes an etched wine glass and a bracelet for wine purchases. All participants and spectators must be 21 years of age or older, and ID will be checked for age verification.
On-Site Experience
The event features music, games, and food available for purchase. Many attendees bring foldable chairs or blankets. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20 per vehicle. There will be costume and dance contests with prizes.
Packet pickup begins on the event day. There is a $5 fee for race-day packet pickup. An optional $20 packet mailing service is available until two weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
