About the race
The SKECHERS Wicked Wine Run at Maxville Winery in Napa Valley, California is scheduled for May 1, 2027. The event is hosted on the Maxville property at 4105 Chiles Pope Valley Road in St. Helena and combines running or walking with on-course wine sampling and a festival atmosphere.
Two course options are offered:
- 1K tasting walk with sampling stations.
- 5K run or walk.
Ticket inclusions differ by distance. 1K tickets include three 1 oz wine tastings along the course, a fourth tasting at the finish served in a provided wine glass, an event bib, an event shirt, and access to the after party. 5K tickets include a full wine glass at the finish, an event bib, an event shirt, a finisher medal, and access to the after party.
On-site features include race bags and goods, food trucks, aid and water stations on the 5K course, sampling stations on the 1K, merchandise tents, games, dance and costume contests, and an after party. Parking is not available at the tasting room; parking is located in a large unplanted field roughly one mile down the road and carries a $20 per vehicle fee payable in cash. A $5 discount for prepaying parking is available at packet pickup. Packet pickup is held at the venue on race day from gate opening until one hour before the 1K begins.
