Event Overview
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Maxville Winery in the Chiles Valley region of Napa Valley. The venue is a 1,000-acre estate that includes 700 acres of preserved wilderness and active vineyards. This event combines trail activities with viticultural experiences in a rural setting.
The event offers two primary distances:
- 5 km (Run or walk)
- 1 km (Tasting walk)
Participants may choose to register for either distance individually or select a package that includes both. The 5 km course features two water stations and utilizes a wave start system where participants line up according to their pace. The 1 km is a walk that includes three sampling stations along the route.
Participant Amenities and Logistics
Registration for the 5 km includes a bib, a race shirt, a finisher medal, and a glass of wine at the finish line. Registration for the 1 km includes a bib, a shirt, a wine glass, and four total wine tastings. Both distances provide access to an after-party featuring a dance contest, costume prizes, and live music.
All attendees, including spectators, must be at least 21 years of age. Identification is required for age verification during packet pick-up. Parking is available on-site for a fee, and participants are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets for the festival area.
