Event overview
The Wicked Wine Run takes place on May 2, 2026, at Maxville Winery in Napa Valley, California (4105 Chiles Pope Valley Rd, St Helena). The venue covers more than 1,000 acres, with 700 acres permanently preserved under the Napa Valley Land Trust as "forever wild." The event includes a festival with music, food trucks, merchandise, games, dance and costume contests, and an after party. All participants and spectators must be 21+; age verification will be required at packet pick-up or on event day.

The 1K is a tasting walk with three 1 oz wine sampling stations along the course and a fourth sampling at the finish, served in a wine glass. The 5K participants receive a free wine glass of wine at the finish; walking the 5K is allowed. Included items vary by entry but can include an event bib, a Wicked Wine Run shirt, and a finisher medal for 5K finishers. There will be two water stations along the 5K course and an additional water station at the finish.
Packet pick-up is offered before the event and on event day; a $5 race day packet pick-up fee applies. Packet delivery is available for a fee of $20 if requested up to two weeks before the event. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20 per vehicle. A spectator tasting-only ticket is available and includes an etched wine glass and bracelet for on-site wine purchases.
