Event overview
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Lake Anna Winery in Spotsylvania Courthouse, Virginia on June 13, 2026. The venue is a family-owned winery on a 75-acre estate with scenic views of Lake Anna. The event offers two course options: a 1K tasting walk and a 5K run or walk. All participants and spectators must be 21 or older; there is an age verification process at packet pickup or on race day.
Distances and included items
- 1K: three 1 oz wine tastings along the course and a fourth tasting at the finish in a provided wine glass.
- 5K: finish-line wine in a provided wine glass and a finisher medal for 2026.
Both distances include an event bib, a 2026 event shirt, and access to the after party.
Logistics and on-site features
The 5K allows walking and has a published 90-minute completion window. The event includes race bags, sampling stations, aid stations, food trucks, merchandise, games, dance and costume contests, and on-site wine sales. Waves will start every 2 to 3 minutes for the 5K. Parking may cost up to $20; a digital parking pass can be pre-purchased.
