Wicked Wine Run at Lake Anna Winery
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Lake Anna Winery, a family-owned 75-acre estate in Spotsylvania County near Fredericksburg, Virginia. The venue is inspired by the French countryside and offers views of Lake Anna and the surrounding vineyards. This event is restricted to participants and spectators who are 21 years of age or older, with age verification required for all attendees.
Participants can choose from various registration options involving two main distances:
- 5K Run/Walk: A course through the vineyard with two water stations and a full glass of wine at the finish line.
- 1K Tasting Walk: A shorter route featuring three sampling stations along the course and a final tasting at the finish.
Individuals may choose to participate in a single event or combine both for a longer experience. Registration for the 5K includes an event bib, a shirt, a finisher medal, and a wine glass. The 1K registration includes an event bib, shirt, and four total wine tastings.
The event grounds feature an after-party with music, food trucks, and games. Entertainment includes dance and costume contests where participants can win gear or bottles of wine. Attendees are encouraged to bring foldable chairs or blankets for the festival area.
