Event overview

The Frosty 5K and Reindeer Run takes place on December 12, 2026 in Stafford, VA at 1600 Mine Road. The event includes a 5K and a 1 Mile Reindeer Run, plus a separate 5K registration category for Stafford school employees. All finishers receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt (if registered by the t-shirt deadline) and a custom finisher's medal. Registration is online only; there is no paper registration. Strollers are permitted but must start toward the back, and dogs are not allowed on the course.

Packet pickup is available on the two nights before the race and on race morning: Fleet Feet Fredericksburg (1993 Carl D. Silver Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA) and Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center (1600 Mine Road, Stafford, VA), with race morning pickup near the restrooms by fields 7 and 8. Parking is available at Embrey Mill Park at 1600 Mine Road. Both courses are USATF certified. There is one water stop about 1.5 miles into the 5K. The 5K has a maximum finish time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Awards for the 5K include overall awards for the top three male and female finishers (cash awards for first through third) and age-group awards; 1 Mile awards are given to top finishers in age divisions.
