Wicked Wine Run - Hedges Family Estate
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the Hedges Family Estate in Benton City, Washington. This event is hosted within the vineyard landscapes of the Red Mountain region, a location known for its winemaking heritage and rolling hills. The event offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km tasting walk
Participants in the 5 km event traverse a scenic course through the estate and receive a finisher medal and a glass of wine upon completing the distance. There are two water stations located along the route to provide hydration. The 1 km option is a walk featuring three wine sampling stations along the path, with a fourth tasting provided at the finish line.
The event grounds include an after-party area with food trucks, music, and games. Attendees can participate in organized activities such as costume contests and dance competitions. For those not participating in the runs, spectator tasting passes are available for purchase at the merchandise tent.
The venue requires a parking fee, and all attendees, including spectators, must be at least 21 years of age. Identification is verified during the packet pickup process.
