Wicked Wine Run - Emerson Park
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Emerson Park in Auburn, New York. This event combines physical activity with wine tasting, offering participants a choice between a running course and a walking course through a scenic park setting. The venue is located at 6914 E. Lake Road, and parking is available on-site for a fee.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 5 km fun run or walk
- 1 km tasting walk
Participants in the 5 km event receive a race shirt, an event bib, and a finisher medal. Upon reaching the finish line, runners are provided with a glass of wine. The course includes two water stations for hydration, and the start follows a wave format with groups departing every few minutes based on pace.
The 1 km tasting walk is a laid-back stroll featuring three wine sampling stations along the course, followed by a fourth tasting at the finish line. Each participant in this category receives a commemorative wine glass, a race shirt, and an event bib. Attendees who select the combined ticket can participate in both distances.
The event includes an after-party featuring a DJ, food trucks, and various vendors. Spectators who do not wish to run or walk can purchase a tasting-only pass at the merchandise tent, which includes an etched wine glass and access to purchase beverages.
