Empowered 5K Run/Walk
The Empowered 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event for Empower Parkinson Inc, a local organization that hosts events for community members diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The event uses a flat out and back course that totals 3.1 miles and takes place at Long Branch Park, 371 Long Branch Road, Liverpool, NY 13090.
This is the fourth annual edition of the event. The prior year listed over 500 participants and reported more than $23,000 raised for the organization. Registration is open from January 11, 2027 through June 12, 2027, with a registration fee of $35.00. T shirts will be distributed prior to race day on specific times and days that will be announced closer to the event. A shirt is guaranteed with sign up by a date to be determined.
