Wicked Wine Run - Cauble Creek Vineyard
The Wicked Wine Run at Cauble Creek Vineyard takes place in Salisbury, North Carolina, near Charlotte. This event combines fitness with vineyard scenery and wine tasting. All participants and spectators are required to be at least 21 years of age, and identification is verified during the check-in process.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 5 km Run or Walk
- 1 km Tasting Walk
The 5 km course is open to both runners and walkers. Participants start in waves organized by pace to manage course capacity. Two water stations are provided along the route. Upon crossing the finish line, participants receive a commemorative wine glass filled with wine and a finisher medal.
The 1 km walk is designed for a slower pace. The route features three sampling stations where participants receive one-ounce wine tastings, with a final fourth tasting provided at the finish line in a glass. Those looking for a more comprehensive experience have the option to register for both the 5 km and 1 km events.
The venue features an after-party environment with music, food trucks, and games. Attendees often bring blankets or foldable chairs to use at the vineyard. The event includes organized activities such as dance and costume contests. On-site parking is available for a fee, and race packets can be collected on the day of the event, through early pick-up, or via mail for an additional cost.
