I Wanna Rock 5K & 10K

The I Wanna Rock 5K & 10K takes place on August 1, 2026, at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita, Kansas. The event features an 1980s rock and roll soundtrack with heavy metal and hair band selections during the race.

All participants will receive a heavy medal. Rock and roll t-shirts will be available for $7. Awards will be presented to the fastest male and fastest female finishers, the top masters male and top masters female finishers, and the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group. Age groups for awards are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over.
