5k Fun Run at Big Head Brewing
This event is an untimed, recreational 5k that starts and ends at Big Head Brewing Co. in Wauwatosa, WI. The course is open to runners, joggers and walkers, and it follows marked streets and sidewalks. Roads will not be closed for the event, so participants must obey traffic laws and exercise caution.
Participants receive one craft brew at the finish line and a choice of a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. There is also a chance to win merchandise or beer to take home. Registration is limited by the size of the taproom and refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
The Brewery Running Series donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofits; this event will donate 10% to local organizations including MADACC. The event operates rain or shine; if conditions become unsafe to run, organizers will remain on site.
Attendees must bring a valid ID. Underage participants may join the run but must be 21 to receive alcoholic beverages; registered, underage participants will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage. There will not be a bag check. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with care and caution, and Big Head Brewing is a dog friendly taproom.
