The White Elephant 5K/10K/Half Marathon takes place on December 6, 2026, along the Tennessee River walk in Chattanooga. The event offers multiple distances and a virtual option.

Participants choose a shirt size at registration but receive a surprise post-race bundle that includes a race shirt and a finisher medal from a previous event, packaged in White Elephant style. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, beginning with 10 and under and continuing through older age groups.
The course follows the Tennessee River walk and is described as pretty flat. Self-serve water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles; runners who prefer not to stop may bring personal hydration. The half marathon uses a two-lap configuration of the course.
Registration options include regular, late, and race day rates with separate prices for virtual entry. Regular registration ends November 28 and late registration ends December 5. November 29 is listed as the last day to register to try to obtain a requested shirt size. Virtual participants can complete their distance at a location of their choice, submit results online, and view results the Monday after the event date.
