About the race
The White Cliffs event at Dover and District Leisure Centre combines a sprint triathlon and a set of junior aquathlon races. The sprint triathlon comprises a 400m pool swim, a 14km undulating road bike and a 5km off-road run. The swim takes place in an eight-lane pool with entry and exit steps. The bike route is easier on the outward leg and involves a gradual rise on the return. The run stage uses closed roads for part of the course. The race includes aid stations, chip timing, numbered racking, finishers medals and prize awards.
The leisure centre site provides accessible changing, showers and toilets, plenty of free parking, a coffee bar and outside seating. After the event the centre offers a range of activities including rock climbing, swimming, badminton and squash. Organisers note there is advice available for first-time triathletes. The event is scheduled for 6 June 2027 and expects around 100 competitors.
Junior aquathlon distances are offered across age groups as follows. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
