Sir John Talbot's Whitchurch 10K, 29 March 2026
The Sir John Talbot’s Whitchurch 10K is a traffic free road race held in Whitchurch with the start and finish at Sir John Talbot’s School. The event holds a full England Athletics licence and is organised within the town boundaries.
The course is mainly flat with some short hills and runs on roads within the historic market town. The town centre, including its half timbered buildings, local pubs and the Georgian Grade 1 listed St Alkmund’s Church, forms part of the route. The organisers state that spectators in town can congregate along the course.
There is one water station on the course and additional water is available at the finish. The organisers may add extra water stations if weather conditions are particularly hot.
Entry is limited to people aged 15 and over. Entries close on Wednesday 18 March 2026. Transfers are offered up to race day and the event’s terms and conditions state that no refunds will be given once participation is confirmed. The Race Director and event officials may delay, suspend or cancel the race in cases of extreme weather, major incidents or other force majeure events, and UK Athletics anti doping rules apply to entrants.
