The Shrewsbury 5k is a series of graded 5k races held at the cycle circuit in Shrewsbury Sports Village, Sundorne Road, SY1 4RQ. The event uses a traffic free, well maintained circuit; the race is just over five laps of a flat, sheltered course.
Six separate races are scheduled on the day, including three England v Wales Masters International races. Race categories include Masters events for older age groups, an open race (19 minutes and beyond), and target races listed as sub-19 minute and sub-17 minute fields. Races are staged under UK Athletics rules and the minimum age is 11 on race day.
Entries are listed at a fee of £16.00 and entries close on 27 June 2026. The organiser is Run Cheshire.
