The Whistler 50 Ultra, presented by BC Athletics, is a premier running event held in Whistler, British Columbia, on the unceded territories of the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations. The ultra features a 50km solo race designed as a beginner-friendly ultra marathon, consisting of five 10km loops, keeping runners within 5km of the race site at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Additionally, there is a 50-mile relay option for teams of 4 or 8, with each member running 10km loops.
