About the race
BC Athletics presents the 16th annual Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra, held at Whistler Olympic Plaza in Whistler, BC, Canada. The event includes solo and team formats over roughly 50 miles of combined running.
Participants can enter these options:
- 50 km solo ultra (five 10 km loops)
- 50 miles relay, teams of 8
- 50 miles relay, teams of 4
The solo 50 km is run as five repeated 10 km loops and is described as a beginner-friendly ultra; runners remain within 5 km of the race site during the course. Solo entries must complete the course within the event time limit.
Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before race day at a retail pickup site and at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Registration is handled through Race Roster; displayed prices include processing fees and GST is charged separately. There is no general refund policy from the organizer. Refunds are available only for entrants who purchased the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection during registration. Entries may be transferred to another person for a $10 transfer fee if completed by the stated transfer deadline and remaining in the same sub-event.
BC Athletics reserves the right to cancel or alter the route for safety, environmental, or other reasons; in some cancellation cases entries may be transferred or deferred with specified credit terms.
