Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra
Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra, presented by BC Athletics, is the 16th annual edition held at Whistler Olympic Plaza in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada on October 3, 2026. The event takes place on the shared unceded territory of the Squamish Nation and the Lil'wat Nation.
Race formats include:
- Solo Ultra 50 km: five 10 km loops; must finish within 9 hours 30 minutes.
- Team Relay 50 miles (8 members): each member runs one 10 km loop.
- Team Relay 50 miles (4 members): each member runs two 10 km loops (20 km).
Registration fees are tiered by period (Super Early Bird, Early Bird, Regular, Last minute). Race Roster now displays pricing including its processing fee; applicable GST may be additional. No refunds are offered by BC Athletics except when the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program was selected at registration. Entries may be transferred to another person for a CA$10.00 transfer fee (includes tax) if completed by September 30 and remaining in the same sub-event.
Packet pickup locations include Fit First Footwear (3713 Kensington Ave, Burnaby) and Whistler Olympic Plaza. The event supports local fundraising, with the Whistler Food Bank listed as a fundraising organization showing CA$918.93 raised of a CA$3,000.00 goal. BC Athletics reserves the right to cancel or change the route for safety, air quality, fire, wildlife, weather, pandemic, or other reasons without reimbursement; in case of cancellation, entries may be transferred or offered deferral credit depending on timing.
