Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra 2026
BC Athletics presents the 16th annual Whistler 50 Relay & Ultra at Whistler Olympic Plaza, Blackcomb Way, Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, on October 3, 2026. The event includes solo and relay formats centered on the race site.
Available race formats:
- 50 km solo: five 10 km loops, must be completed in under 9 hours 30 minutes.
- 50 miles relay team of eight: each member runs one 10 km loop.
- 50 miles relay team of four: each member runs two consecutive 10 km loops.
Packet pickup is scheduled on October 1 and October 2 at designated locations. BC Athletics does not offer refunds except for participants who purchased Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection during registration. Entries can be transferred to another person for a CA$10.00 fee if completed by September 30 and must remain in the same sub-event.
BC Athletics may cancel the event or change the route on short notice due to fire bans, air quality, weather, wildlife, pandemic, construction, Acts of God, or other safety concerns without reimbursement. If the organizer cancels the event, entries may be transferred to the next available date if cancellation occurs more than two months prior; cancellations within two months may receive a deferred credit of reduced value.
