The course surface is described as hard packed limestone. The route passes areas with views of Blackcomb and Whistler mountains, lakes, streams and stands of evergreen trees; summer breezes are noted. Aid stations are placed approximately every 3 miles and provide Gatorade, water, Gu and first aid.
Entrants receive race pack items including a full color dry release T-shirt and a finisher medal. Virtual entrants receive a classic deluxe race T-shirt and a finisher medal and must complete the event on August 16, 2026 while recording their running time.
