Event overview
Whiskey Run Chattanooga takes place on January 1, 2026 at the Wheland Trailhead Riverpark on Middle Street in Chattanooga, TN. The event offers three race distances:
- Half-marathon
- 10K
- 5K
There is a 3.5 hour time limit for all distances. Walkers are allowed in the half-marathon. Registration fees vary by distance and increase as the event date approaches.
Logistics, course and services
Start and finish are at Wheland Trailhead Riverpark, 1503 Middle St. Packet pickup is scheduled at Chattanooga Fleet Feet on December 29 (3:00 pm to 5:00 pm) and December 30 (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm), and on race day at the International Towing Museum parking area. Parking is listed at the International Towing Museum, 3315 Broad St, and at the Calvary Pavilion behind the museum.
Aid stations are placed along each course and are stocked with water, Gatorade, bananas, and energy gels ("Gu"). Specific aid station mile locations are provided for each distance, including multiple stations for the half-marathon and several for the 10K and 5K.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall. Age groups begin at 20 and under and extend to 70+. Participants must be present on event day to receive awards; there is a $15 fee to mail unclaimed awards. Each finisher receives event apparel, electronic timing, a finishing medal, whiskey sampling, and free parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
