Event Overview
Turkey Trails is a Thanksgiving-themed running event held at the Tennessee River Park Pavilion 2 in Chattanooga. The event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, including options for children and those interested in long-distance running.
Race Categories
Participants can select from several distance options:
- Kids Dash (50m) for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile (untimed).
- 5K (3.1 miles).
- 10K (6.2 miles).
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles).
- Virtual Race for those unable to attend in person.
Participant Experience
The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances are chip-timed with live results and awards provided. Registered participants for the timed races and the 1 Mile event receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. For the Kids Dash, registration includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specific medal designed for children. Those who participate in the Kids Dash without the swag package may do so at no cost.
Amenities at the event include free photos and food treats available at the finish line. There is also an option for individuals to volunteer for 30 minutes during packet pickup before running a distance of their choice.
