Whiskey Road Race
The Whiskey Road Race is a community road running event held in Aiken, South Carolina at the Odell Weeks Activity Center on November 7, 2026. It supports the Cumbee Center to Assist Abused Persons and raises funds to maintain services for domestic and sexual violence victims across six counties.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 10K on a course that follows Whiskey Road and South Boundary Avenue through Aiken's historic horse district.
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Tot Trot 50 yards
The 5K and 10K use chip timing and a visible digital clock. Water is provided on the course. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K and to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age category for those distances.
Registration opens June 1, 2026 and online registration closes November 3, 2026 at 10:00 pm. In-person registration and packet pickup are available the Friday before the race at the Cumbee Center and on race morning at Odell Weeks. Participants registered for the 5K or 10K receive a swag bag with a bib and shirt; 1 Mile and Tot Trot registrants may purchase a swag bag. Registrations after October 15, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
