Whiskey Road Race
The Whiskey Road Race takes place on November 7, 2026 at Odell Weeks Activity Center, 1700 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29803. The event serves as an annual fundraiser for the Cumbee Center to Assist Abused Persons.
The Cumbee Center is a nonprofit organization that supports and empowers victims of domestic and sexual violence and their families. The center provides confidential, comprehensive and specialized services 24 hours every day at no cost and operates as a safe haven for those fleeing abuse.
Race options include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Tot Trot (50 Yards)
The 10K course runs down Whiskey Road, through Aiken’s historic horse district, and along South Boundary Avenue. The 5K and 10K are officially chip timed; a digital clock will be displayed and water is provided on the course.
Participants registered for the 5K or 10K receive a swag bag that includes a bib, shirt and other items. Participants in the 1 Mile and Tot Trot may purchase a swag bag that includes a shirt. Online registration closes November 3 at 10:00 pm. In-person bib and swag pickup is available Friday November 6 at the Cumbee Center office and Saturday November 7 at Odell Weeks. Participants who register after October 15 are not guaranteed a shirt.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age category for the 5K and 10K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
