Aiken Trailblazer Halloween Marathon at Stable View
The Aiken Trailblazer is a Halloween-themed trail running event at Stable View equestrian facility in Aiken, South Carolina, scheduled for October 24, 2026. The venue covers about 1,000 acres of gently rolling hills bordered by forest and longleaf pines.
Race distances offered:
- Mummifying Marathon - 26.2 Miles
- Headless Horseman Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- Thriller 10K - 10K
- Frightening 5K - 5K
- Kooky Kids Fun Run - 1K
Participants receive a finisher's medal, a race t-shirt, post-race food and access to hot showers. Long sleeve shirts are guaranteed through October 15; short sleeve shirts are available while supplies last. There are four rest stops on course supplying water and Nuun.
Awards include overall top three female and male finishers for the half marathon, 10K and 5K, plus first-place age group medals. Age groups awarded: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75-79. Costume awards are presented in categories such as Most Unique, The Scariest, Best Superhero and Best Family & Friends Group.
Packet pick-up and a pre-race yoga session are held at Stable View. On-site lodging and RV hookups are available, and the venue is within reach of dining and services in historic downtown Aiken.
