Event Details

The T-Bred 5K and 1 Mile Trot is a running event on Saturday, February 28, 2026. It takes place at Virginia Acres Park (Odell Weeks Activity Center) at 1700 Whiskey Rd. in Aiken, South Carolina. This is the 3rd annual event and it benefits South Aiken High School's Cross Country and Track & Field programs.

The event offers two distances:

5K Run
1 Mile Trot

Race Course

The 5K uses a USATF certified course (certificate #SC21006DW). Both races start and end on the Virginia Acres walking track. The course follows historic roads around one of Aiken's equestrian areas.

Timing & Awards

The 1 Mile Trot and the 5K are both electronically timed. Awards for the 5K will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers, the top male and female masters participants (40 years and older), and the top three male and female chip-timed finishers in each age division.

Participant Information

Packet pickup and registration are available on race day at the venue from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register before February 16, 2026. For later registrations, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event policy allows strollers, leashed dogs, and walkers.
