Logistics and race features
Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the 1 mile dog walk; fees increase after July 22, 2026. Race premiums (shirt sizes) are guaranteed for runners registered by July 20th. Pre-race packet pick up is available August 5 and 6 from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, and August 7 from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM at The Extra Mile Fitness Company, 3400 Calumet Ave., Valparaiso. Onsite packet pick up is available on race day beginning at 5:00 PM.
Timing features include timing mats at the starting line, chip timing for finish results, and live results via text and email. The course will have directional signs at turns. Overall and age group awards may be claimed within 14 days after the event at The Extra Mile Fitness Company; unclaimed awards will be donated or recycled thereafter.
