Whinlatter Forest Trail Runs
Whinlatter Forest Trail Runs takes place in Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District on 2 May 2027. The event offers two trail distances and runs across forest paths with views of Bassenthwaite Lake, Keswick, Skiddaw and Derwentwater. The route starts on the north side and finishes on the south side of the forest.

- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
- 10K Trail Run: 6.2 miles
The course is described as firm underfoot with climbs and fast descents; some sections are uneven and hilly. The event is Canicross friendly. One controlled dog per participant is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead at all times.
Timing is provided by live chip timing from Timing Up North, with real time results and accurate finish times. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher's medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a beer or soft drink, and a snack. A custom event T shirt is available for an additional £12.50.
