Whinlatter Forest Half Marathon

The Whinlatter Forest Half Marathon & 10K, held in May 2025, is a challenging trail running event set in the scenic Whinlatter Forest within the Lake District, a World Heritage Site. Participants can choose between a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 10K (6.2 miles), both featuring firm trail paths with significant elevation, offering stunning views across Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwentwater, Keswick, and Skiddaw. The course starts on the forest's north side and finishes on the south side.
