Whinlatter Forest Half Marathon
The Whinlatter Forest Half Marathon & 10K, held in May 2026, is a challenging trail running event set in the scenic Whinlatter Forest within the Lake District National Park. The half marathon covers 13.1 miles featuring tough elevation, steep climbs, and fast descents, while the 10K offers a 6.2-mile course suitable for intermediate runners. Both races start on the north side and finish on the south side of the forest, offering panoramic views of Keswick, Skiddaw, and Derwentwater.
