Whangamatā Half Marathon
The Whangamatā Half Marathon is a community running event held in Whangamatā, New Zealand, with routes based at Williamson Park. The event offers three distances:

- 10 km run
- 5 km run
Entries are tiered by date with differing fees for each distance; there are options for a Standard Entry that includes a finisher medal or a Medal-less Entry. The Lions Club of Whangamatā is the recipient charity and a local event management company runs the event. Event cancellation protection is included with all entries at no extra charge. A user pays personal refund insurance option from XCover can be added at the time of entry.
The event includes community-focused programs such as a Pay an Entry Forward scheme supported by Coromandel’s More FM and a gifted entry program for residents of the Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki districts. Additional features listed by the organisers include free hydration stations that use a bring-your-own cup policy, downloadable training plans for all distances, and a spot prize program called the Winning Wheel.
