Whangamatā Half Marathon
The Whangamatā event offers three distances held in Williamson Park, Whangamatā on 26 September 2026. The Lions Club of Whangamatā is the recipient charity and the event is delivered in partnership with a local event management company.

- 21 km (G.J. Gardner Homes Half Marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km (Coromandel’s More FM 5km)
Entries can be made online and there are staged entry fees for each distance, with separate pricing for standard entries (with a medal) and medal-less entries. Medals are limited and standard entries with medals are available only while stocks last; past years show medals selling out before the event. Event cancellation protection is included in all entry options at no extra charge, and optional personal refund insurance is available from a third-party provider at the time of entry.
