The Weymouth Classic & Sprint Triathlon

The Weymouth Classic & Sprint Triathlon takes place on Sunday 6 June 2027 at Weymouth College, DT4 7SW. The event is delivered by Bustinskin Triathlon Club and is described as a well-established, professionally run triathlon on the South Coast.

Key features include an open-water sea swim with safety cover, fast rolling bike routes on Dorset roads, and a multi-lap run with regular aid provision. The event operates from a dedicated race headquarters with facilities and straightforward logistics. Chip timing is provided and all official finishers receive a medal. Courses are marked and marshalled and visible safety and medical cover is provided.

Distances

Sprint - suitable for first-time triathletes or for a fast race.
Classic (Standard) - popular with club athletes and regular racers.

Registration takes place on race morning only and all race materials are collected at registration. Entries are capped across all distances and may close early once limits are reached. Official route maps are supplied for planning and familiarisation, but athletes remain responsible for knowing the route on race day. Arrival information notes Race HQ at Weymouth College and parking at Lodmoor Car Park (pay and display); competitors are advised to allow time to park and walk to HQ.
