2026 Weston Super Half

The Weston Super Half is a road running event held in the coastal town of Weston-super-Mare. The course takes place on fully closed roads and includes a variety of terrain such as the seafront promenade, the pier, parkland areas, and a section situated directly on the beach. Participants pass along the coastline throughout the route.

The event offers two distinct distances:

  • Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile course for participants aged 17 and older.
  • Community Mile: A 1 mile run with no minimum age requirement, though children must be accompanied by an adult.

The half marathon has a strict four-hour cut-off time due to the availability of footpaths on the final sections of the course. Participants receive a race pack by mail in the weeks preceding the event, and digital race guides are provided via email. On the day of the event, a bag drop facility is located in the race village for participant use.

Water and energy drink stations are positioned along the course to support runners, alongside designated music and cheer points. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a sustainably sourced T-shirt, with the option to opt out of the shirt. There is no official race parking at the start line; instead, local pay-and-display car parks such as Carlton Street and Locking Road are available for those traveling by vehicle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
