The Dave Jones Prom Run Series
The Dave Jones Prom Run Series consists of nine monthly running events held in Weston-super-Mare. The main event is a 5 mile race that covers two laps of the local promenade. The course is chip timed, staged under UKA rules, and has been certified for accuracy by a UKA-approved course measurer.
Participants can choose to enter the entire nine-race series or select individual dates. The series is open to runners of all standards who are at least 16 years old. In addition to the senior race, a 1 mile junior series is held for children between the ages of four and sixteen (reception to year 11). Results from the senior races are submitted to the Power of 10 rankings.

The event headquarters is located at Revo on Marine Parade, which serves as the venue for post-race prize presentations. Facilities at the headquarters include refreshments and toilets, though changing and shower facilities are not provided. Paid parking is available along Marine Parade. Prizes are awarded for individual races and for the overall series across various age categories, including senior and veteran classifications ranging from MV40 to FV70. A team competition is also held across five categories, including senior and veteran teams for men, women, and mixed groups.
Medals are provided to all finishers in the junior races, with trophies awarded to the top performers in different school-year categories. Under EA rules, the use of headphones is not permitted during the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
