Run Walk to Remember 5K / 10K / Fun Run
The Run Walk to Remember event takes place in Lavonia, Georgia on February 13, 2027 at Weldon Memorial Park and Gazebo, 1269 East Main Street. The event offers running and walking distances with both in-person and virtual options for some races.

- 10K (6.2 miles) - in-person and virtual
The event benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, a bereavement camp for children ages 6 to 17. Camp Cocoon provides a structured setting where children can talk about a deceased loved one, ask counselors and medical professionals questions, or take part in typical summer camp activities.
All proceeds will go to offsetting the cost of the camp and to sponsoring children to attend Camp Cocoon at no cost. For the virtual 5K, virtual runners are not eligible for t-shirts or race day awards. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $30 for each 5K option, $40 for each 10K option, and $15 for the 1K Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
