Event details
The Westfield 7.5 km Trail Race takes place on Sunday 28 December 2025 at Westfield Community Hall, TN35 4QL. Entry is open from 18 August to 27 December 2025. The minimum age is 16 or older and the race entry limit is 50 people. Entry fees are £15.00, rising to £18.00 from 22 December 2025. Prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers. The event is organized by 1066 Trail Races.
Course and facilities
The route is a loop around Westfield that follows the 1066 Country Walk path for the first 3 km, passes the Farbanks Henge sculptures, then returns via the hamlets of Little and Great Maxfield to finish opposite The Plough Pub. The course is mainly off-road, fully marked and marshalled. Toilets, changing and parking are available at the village hall. Tea and cake are provided in the hall after the race. The distance is approximate, there may be livestock on the course, and running with dogs is prohibited. A course map is available on request.
