Western Invasion takes place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Stragent Dog Park, 121 Summers Dr., Longview, TX 75604. The event offers multiple race options:
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (100–200 meter sprint)
- Virtual Option
The half-marathon is run as four laps and the 10K as two laps. Course maps are provided for the race distances.
Entry, awards and other information
Entry fees listed on the event page are: half-marathon $60, 10K $38, 5K $30, 1 Mile $15, virtual $40, and Kid's Dash free. Prices increase after December 31, 2025. Registration closes on March 15, 2026, for the events.
Registration for the 5K, 10K, half-marathon and 1 mile includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. To guarantee a t-shirt size, register by March 1. Age-group awards (awarded four deep) apply to the 5K, 10K and half-marathon across male/female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters/grand masters categories also receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
The 1 mile is an untimed option with no age-group awards; milers still receive a finisher medal and participation shirt. The virtual option includes shipped shirt and medal the week of the race. Volunteer roles are available and include a code for a free race entry as a thank you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
