Event overview
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on February 7, 2026, at Paul Boorman Trail Park in Longview, Texas (1505 Princeton Ave, 75604). The event offers three race distances and is organized by US Road Running. Parking at the park is limited. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race start.

The 5K and 10K use a short course segment listed as 0.78 miles; the out-and-back measures 1.56 miles. The 5K completes the out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a segment listed as 1.09 miles; the out-and-back measures 2.16 miles and is repeated six times for the distance. Course maps are provided for each distance.
