Western Canada OCR Open - Penticton, BC
The Western Canada OCR Open is an obstacle course event held in the Marron Valley area of Penticton. The event takes place on July 3 and 4, 2027, and features more than 40 obstacles across multiple race formats. Finishers receive a medal.
Available race formats and age minimums:
- TRI-UMPH Challenge, from 16 years, 10 km + 5 km + 400 or 800 m.
- Endurance, from 16 years, 10 km with 40+ obstacles.
- Battle, from 14 years, 5 km with 40+ obstacles.
- Sprint, from 14 years, 400 to 800 m, 24 to 40+ obstacles.
- Kids Race, ages 7 to 13, 1 km with 24 obstacles.
- Obstacle Workshop, from 8 years, 2 hours, 15 to 20 obstacles.
The event runs over two days of racing and offers optional pre-race workshops on the preceding day. On-site amenities include food vendors, hydration stations, first aid, and free parking. Entry prices are listed from CAD$29.99 depending on the chosen format.
