AVR Westbury 5k - 14 July 2026
Avon Valley Runners stages the AVR Westbury 5k on 14 July 2026. It is a UK/EA licensed event with licence number listed as TBC. Race headquarters and registration are at the Player's Club, 26 Quartermaster Road, Westbury BA13 4JT.
The event is a no frills three lap 5k run conducted on road throughout and timed with gun to tape chip timing. Course records are 14:25 for men and 16:02 for women.
Entry fees are £11 for UK/England Athletics affiliated runners and £13 for non affiliated runners, plus a £1 administration fee. The minimum age for entry is 11 years on the day of the race. Limited entries are available on the day subject to availability. Entrants should select the correct ticket type; affiliated entry is for those with a current valid UK/England Athletics registration number.
Parking will be signposted on entry to the West Wilts Trading Estate. A licensed bar and food will be available at the venue.
Prizes include the open race winners for first male and first female, and top male and female in the following age categories: U16, Senior, V40, V50, V60, and V70. A £50 bonus is offered to the first man and the first woman to break the respective course records. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
