AVR Westbury 5k - August 2026
Avon Valley Runners stages the AVR Westbury 5k on Tuesday 11 August 2026 as a UK/EA licensed event (licence No: TBC). Race headquarters and registration are at the Player's Club, 26 Quartermaster Road, Westbury BA13 4JT. The event is a three-lap, 5k course run entirely on road with gun to tape chip timing. Current course records are 14:25 for men and 16:02 for women.
Entry fees are £11 for UK/EA affiliated runners and £13 for non-affiliated runners, plus a £1 administration fee. The minimum age for entry is 13 years on the day of the race. There are two entry categories: UK/EA affiliated requires a current valid UK/England Athletics registration number; other participants should use the non-affiliated category. Limited entries will be available on the day subject to availability.
Prizes include winners of the open race for first male and first female, and top male and female in each age category: U16, Senior, V40, V50, V60, and V70. A £50 bonus is offered for the first man and the first woman to break the respective course records. Parking is signposted on entry to the West Wilts Trading Estate.
