AVR Westbury 5k August 2026
Avon Valley Runners is organising the AVR Westbury 5k in August 2026. The event holds a UK/England Athletics licence, number to be confirmed. Race headquarters and registration are at the Player's Club, 26 Quartermaster Road, Westbury BA13 4JT.
The race is a no frills, three lap 5k run on road throughout with gun to tape chip timing. Published course records are 14:25 for men and 16:02 for women. Minimum age for entry is 11 years on the day of the race.
Entry fees are stated as £11 for UK/EA affiliated runners and £13 for non affiliated runners, plus a £1 administration fee. Affiliated entry is for those with a current valid UK/England Athletics registration number; other participants should use the non affiliated ticket. Limited entries may be available on the day, subject to availability.
Parking will be signposted on entry to the West Wilts Trading Estate. A licensed bar and food will be available at the venue. Prize categories include overall winners for male and female and top male and female in the following categories U16, Sen, V40, V50, V60 and V70.
