Packet pickup and race day registration begin. The 5K and 1 Mile events start. The 40 Yard Kids Dash begins later in the morning, following the completion of the other races. Awards are given for the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 1 Mile. Both races also have age group awards. All participants in the Kids Dash receive a finisher's ribbon.
