Event

The 5K For CATCH is a 5K run held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Northbrook, Illinois (180 Anets Drive, 60062). The event raises funds for CATCH (Community Action Together for Children's Health) and aims to address stigma around mental illness. The race is open to everyone and families are welcome.

Practical information

The listed registration fee is $35; the price increases after March 31, 2026. Each registered runner receives a bib, a custom shirt, and a custom medal at check-in. Walk-ups and last-minute registrants are not guaranteed a shirt. Registrants after the 110th entrant will not receive a shirt, and participants finishing after the 125th finisher will not receive a medal. Medals are provided to the first 125 finishers. Results will be emailed to participants after the race.

There will be two water stations on the course. Bananas will be available before and after the run. A first-aid kit will be on site and Techny Prairie is required to have an AED present. Parking is available in Techny parking lots, including the Techny Prairie Activity Center parking lot. Check-in will open tentatively before the event and sponsors and volunteers will set up prior to the start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
