Event
The 5K For CATCH is a 5K run in Northbrook, Illinois, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026. The event raises funds for CATCH (Community Action Together for Children's Health) and includes a focus on addressing the stigma of mental illness. The race is open to everyone and families are welcome.
Registration and fees
Registration opens December 15, 2025. The listed entry price is $35 (previous price shown as $45). Each registrant is to receive a bib and a custom shirt at check-in. T-shirt distribution is limited: registrants after the 110th registrant are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Medals will be awarded to the first 125 finishers; participants finishing after that number may not receive a medal.
Logistics
The start/finish area is listed at 1198 Sanders Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062. The course includes two water stations and bananas will be provided before and after the race. A first-aid kit will be on site and Wood Oaks is required to have an AED present. Parking is available in Wood Oaks Green parking lots, including the Wood Oaks Junior High School parking lot.
