5K For CATCH
The 5K For CATCH in Northbrook, Illinois, is a community endurance event held to raise funds for CATCH, Community Action Together for Children's Health. The event emphasizes reducing stigma around mental illness and supporting mental health and well being. The race is open to everyone and families are welcome.
Participants will receive a race bib. Registered participants within the stated limits are eligible for a custom shirt and a custom medal: shirts are not guaranteed for registrants after the 110th registrant, and medals are not guaranteed for participants finishing after the 125th finisher. Results are distributed after race completion.
Course amenities include two water stations along the route and bananas provided before and after the event. A first aid kit will be on site and Techny Prairie is required to have an automated external defibrillator present. Parking is available in Techny parking lots, including the Techny Prairie Activity Center parking lot.
