Event Overview
This 5K For CATCH event takes place in Northbrook, Illinois, at 180 Anets Drive. It is an endurance event raising money for CATCH, which stands for Community Action Together for Children's Health. The event is described as open to everyone and welcoming to families.
Event Details
All runners receive a bib, a custom shirt, and a custom medal upon check-in on race day. Walk-up and last-minute registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Only the first 110 registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt, and only the first 125 finishers are guaranteed a medal.
Two water stations are located along the course. Bananas are provided before and after the race. A first-aid kit will be present, and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is required to be on-site at the Techny Prairie venue.
Parking is available in any Techny parking lot, including the Techny Prairie Activity Center parking lot.
Schedule and Logistics
Check-in is tentatively open from 7:25 AM. The recommended arrival time for all participants is 7:40 AM. The race begins at 8:00 AM. The race is expected to end around 9:00 AM, with results emailed to participants after completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
