Event overview
Phoenix Running West Sussex stages the annual "Bobble Wobble Run" on Sunday 07 December 2025 at Ardingly Activity Centre, Ardingly Reservoir, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH17 6SQ. The organiser is introducing a Phoenix bobble hat for 2025; the hat is described as snow and mocha with matching mocha "PHOENIX" embroidery and is double-lined. Finishers receive a hat and a finisher's medal unless they choose the no hat/medal entry option.
Course, format and entries
The event is a timed, lap-based race using a 5 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back course around the reservoir. The surface is off road, compact trail and the route is undulating. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish, with a 7 hour overall time limit and a minimum distance of one lap (5 km / 3.1 miles). Distance options include:

The event operates a flexible "rock up and run" start within a 1.5 hour start window and can accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance. Entry fees listed are £37.95 (Affiliated), £39.95 (UnAffiliated) and a no-medal entry option at a flat £20. The event provides an aid station, same-day results, athlete profiles, digital BIBs and digital finishers certificates.
