Brighton Marathon Weekend
The Brighton Marathon Weekend is an annual two day running festival held in the coastal city of Brighton and Hove. The event brings together a range of races and community activities and is presented as a celebration of the city and its communities.
The 2026 event is scheduled for Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April. Organisers expect up to 20,000 participants across three main events. The weekend includes participant resources and operational information such as participant guides, a spectator guide, park and ride, road closures, medical advice and volunteering options.
The event was founded in 2010 and also established a free children’s event at that time. For 2026 a new trail option is listed as Maverick's Brighton Trail Marathon. Imagery and event notes indicate on-course support and entertainment, including assisted wheelchair groups, pacers and live music.
