West Point Ring Run
The Ring Run is an annual community event organized by the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) at West Point. The event features a single distance for participants:
- 5 km
The course starts and ends at the Clinton Lot, located across from Trophy Point. Participants receive a timed race bib as part of their registration fee. Those who register by mid-July are guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt in their preferred size, though shirts are included for all regular paid registrants while supplies last.
Registration is divided into three tiers based on the date of entry, with costs increasing as the event date approaches. Cadets at the United States Military Academy can participate in the run without a fee, though this option does not include a commemorative shirt.
In addition to the run, participants have the option to attend a brunch at the West Point Club following the race. This meal requires a separate registration fee, and seating is limited. The event is managed by the West Point MWR Fitness Center, which handles both online and phone registration for the race and the optional brunch.
