Event Overview
The West Point Lake Olympic, Sprint and AquaBike is a multisport event scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026. It takes place at R. Shaefer Heard Park in West Point, Georgia.
Event Distances
Five events are offered:
- Olympic: A triathlon with a 1.5 km swim, a 40 km bike ride, and a 10 km run.
- Olympic - AquaBike: A duathlon consisting of the swim and bike segments from the Olympic distance.
- Olympic Relay: A team event for the Olympic distance course.
- Sprint: A shorter triathlon with a 600 yard swim, a 15 mile bike ride, and a 5 km run.
- Sprint Relay: A team event for the Sprint distance course.
Event Details
The Olympic, Olympic AquaBike, and Olympic Relay events begin at 7:15 AM EDT. The Sprint and Sprint Relay events begin at 8:00 AM EDT. Online registration for most events includes a price increase after April 11, 2026. The Olympic event is open to participants aged 14 to 99.
